Deal effectively with damage claims

The great benefit of an IP camera system is that it works for you day and night. Whilst the system can be an operational management tool for you during the day, it can be a CCTV security system during the night.

At night security staff can take control of the system or automated setting changes can be programmed to activate and de-activate CCTV operations at certain times - e.g. set at 6pm and unset at 7am. So cameras can be set to start 'auto guard touring' whereby a camera moves between a sequence of preset views at set time intervals, providing large area surveillance coverage. 'Auto tracking features' are beneficial to sites that are unmanned at night or weekends. Cameras can automatically follow and record the movements of intruders.

Motion detection can trigger a range of activations such as playing a pre-recorded message via a PA system to warn intruders, ring alarm bells, switch on security lights, alert key holders via emails or mobile phones or raise an alarm with a professional Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
